Rosalind is based in the UK, though her work has taken her to Italy, Germany, Amsterdam, the Czech Republic, Kosovo, France, Poland, Portugal, Austria, India and New York.
She is a trained vocal coach and has a very physical directorial praxis, particularly with regards realising text. This is hugely informed by her time as Assistant Director to Annie Castledine and Clive Mendus from Complicite, Irena Brown and Annabel Arden.
In opera she has worked at Glyndebourne, ROH Linbury, Teatro Sao Carlos Lisbon and Porto, Opera North, Britten Pears Arts, The Institute of Contemporary Arts, and Welsh National Opera.

Creative Director, Sizewell Creative
In 2024 she became Creative Director of Sizewell Creative, which was born out of her sustainable process-based Noye’s Fludde, Benjamin Britten, Thorington Theatre 2023-24. The company was franchised in order to continue enabling Arts in Suffolk and harnessing the impact of Sizewell C nuclear power station into a huge positive social change, and eventual cultural asset for the region.
Sustainability and Economic viability is a USP, leading the way on the change we need in the arts.
Collaboration, co-creation and partnership is the foundation of SZCreative. Noye’s Fludde involved seven partners across education, arts, industry and community sectors, and most recently King Arthur Reimagined at Britten Pears Arts July 2026, saw this partnership engagement double to fourteen.
Industry Collaborators include; Britten Pears Arts, First Light Festival, Neil Bartlett, Dance East, New Wolsey Theatre, Vanhulle Dance Theatre, Complicite and Gecko.
Education and Community partners include; Leiston Educational Partnership, Hollesley Bay HMPs, SZC Workforce, Suffolk New College, GSMD Costume, University of Suffolk, UEA and Tyndall Centre for Climate Change.
Our focus on land, community and belonging bring diverse local sectors together using creative praxis with at least one culminating multi-disciplinary community - professional opera each year.
